Honored to be selected for the Leadership Atlanta Class of 2025. Leadership Atlanta is one of the oldest sustained community leadership programs in the nation. Through retreats, full-day seminars, service projects, discussion groups and community tours, members explore critical community issues, examine themselves as leaders and build relationships of trust and mutual understanding. October's Board Meeting included a review of my first 90 days as Superintendent! Coherence, Capacity Building, and a Clarion Call for ALL were my key findings. My Vice-Chair shared, " Dr. Whitaker started out by building a team that’s focused on student outcomes. She is organized with very specific goals that are rooted in how well kids are performing so that we don’t get distracted [from] that. I think with that being your guide, I think that then we’ll start to see some results." Check out the plan at https://bitly.ws/XrgH
