The board of Zee Entertainment Enterprises has approved a proposal to raise up to Rs 2,000 crore by issuing equity shares and/or convertible or non-convertible securities to bolster its balance sheet after the failure of a merger with Sony Pictures Networks India, Influencing India has confirmed.
