Description
Soru is a princess born from illegitimacy, and able to see ghosts although she is completely blind. Jahyeon is a heroic general who possesses the sun’s aura which can chase away spirits. Characters are well written. They’re flawed and driven, and stay true to their heart till the end. It’s more tragic than I would have preferred but this really touched me, and all in all this is all I ask when picking up a new story.

Because no one wants to realize what they've got only after it's gone.
This is kind of a hard one to review without *any* spoilers. It was worth reading but...
Do not read this for an easy (character relations are very complicated), fluffy (there's lot of tears and heartbreak), HEA (there is depending on the perspective you choose to take) romance.

FL has serious self-worth issues that usually result in suicidal self-sacrifice. ML1 has an ego derived from his baggage & therefore expectations that seemed realistic but required more attention than he was willing to give. ML2 barely has any screentime but he's primarily presented as a confused monster doing bad things in order to achieve a goal he doesn't fully understand.
All 3 MCs are upfront with their motivations but fail to express them properly.

Except for ML2. He expressed what he wanted frequently & asked himself why just as frequently but never quite figured it out (and probably never will). ML1 says a lot of things he doesn't mean--things he regrets but doesn't correct. FL eventually finds what she's always wanted but I would argue it isn't healthy, not long term.
The realizations that all 3 make at the end are rewarding to read but tragedies are not my preferred genre and this story leaned too heavily in that direction (which went against the hopeful summary, I might add).
The art is high quality all the way through, despite the change in artist. This appears to be an unpopular opinion and while I do think the ending was a bit abrupt, it did not feel rushed to me. I had no questions or issues because the order of events and events themselves lined up and made sense. I did not read the novel but the only major difference that I could see from provided spoilers was that

Outside of all of the above, the Twilight Poem webtoon was an interesting character study. Did everyone deserve what came to them at the end? I say not, but this story has got me thinking a bit too hard. So if that appeals to you, you won't be disappointed.

Idk why they axed the series since I don't think it was doing that bad. Don't read it for romance read if you like angst.

can't blame them as after 45+ chapters, there were issues about the studio abusing their artists which eventually leading them to quit. haven't read the novel but some comments did state that they removed some relevant scenes that could've impacted and made the story with more sense so there were questions needed to be answered.
there were satisfying parts, but it's sad that they had wasted the potential of this story.
overall, it's a fairly good read :<

The story is so depressing. Everybody just wants her flesh for the cure. However I'd like to see this through to see if there's a character development.
