910 this place has what you need, and it’s a good thing they take credit/debit cards!

My car is no longer operable so based on my mechanics recommendation i called Crazy Ray’s to get rid of it. Talk about poor first impression– the guy who answered the phone was soooo rude and all i did was inquire about the process of my junking my vehicle. He turned me over to a female employee w/out even saying, «hold on let me transfer you,» «let me let you speak to the proper person», nothing. At that point i was like thanks but no thanks. if i can’t get good service and i’m not even a customer i already know dealing w/these people would more than likely be a nightmare! Google has pretty good reviews so that’s why i called this particular Crazy Ray’s –clearly somebody on that site is LYING!!! Very unprofessional — there must be plenty of other auto recycling companies out there who want the business as well as referral business.

They gave me a good price for my 14-year old van (150% of what Rusty’s was offering). The price quoted was the price they paid. The process requires waiting in several lines, but it is well organized.

This place is a rip off. I sold my car to them in June 2015. I was told I would receive $ 400 over the phone but only got $ 300! Then the reciept copy I received was too light for the MVA to read, when they called to verify not only did Crazy Rays say they don’t verify over the phone, but also informed mr I would have to pay $ 100 for another copy! Terrible way to do business and they will never have repeat customers treating people that way! Trashy

Being a Resident of Baltimore for 10 years. I would say Crazy Ray’s is awesome. Where else can you get a whole engine for less than 200. Parts that you normally have to get at a dealer for ridiculous prices. You can get at Crazy Ray’s for $ 5.00. I needed my trunk floor (you know that goes over the spare tire). Dealer wanted $ 75.00. CR only wants $ 5.00.
However, that’s where the fun stops. Overall if you’ve been to this yard, it’s not for the faint hearted. You need to be tough skin. Some people will try to f*ck with you and/or your tools. When it rains the yard gets wet and dirty. They keep no inventory (which should change). Jessup is the biggest yard. It sucks going all the way down there and finding they don’t have anything. Why can’t they keep a very simple year/model/make of each vehicle in each yard.
They also need to do something about the people who are trying to make money pulling parts off cars for people.

This place is amazing. It is a true junkyard and is slightly organized with a car so laid out by brand but that’s about it. You definitely have to pick it and pull it away. it is a large complex and tons of walking. so wear boots because there tons of glass everywhere but the people are friendly, informative and the parts are really cheap. just be prepared to look. Think of it as a bargain bin for auto parts

While it would be wonderful if Crazy Ray’s had an inventory of all the cars they had at all the locations, this isn’t that sort of yard. I imagine it’s because they are a «U-Pick-It» place; there’s no big profit incentive for them to keep track of inventory like that.
To my knowledge, they are NOT a part of the «ROW 52» system. Let’s all mention this to them whenever we visit, eh?
When you get to the 2801 Hawkins Point Rd., Baltimore location, you’ll find the layout is roughly thus:
American cars near and to the left
Foreign cars near and to the right
SUVs far and to the left
Vans and trucks (and some SUVs) far and to the right
I’ll try and post similar layouts for the other locations as I go. Plus, I’m heading there this weekend to do some «picking.» I’ll come back and correct this layout if needed.
«N.V.» has the right approach – do a little homework before you come to make your time here more effective.
And here’s an added benefit (besides the wonderful feeling we all get just wandering around row upon row of disemboweled automobile cadavers): SURGICAL PRACTICE! You get to try out your repairs on SOMEONE ELSE’S CAR! You benefit yourself, because you can make mistakes where it doesn’t really matter, and you (hopefully) benefit the NEXT guy to need a part from that car, because you’ve gone and exposed new areas in the vehicle to be searched through! But be courteous, please; don’t go through things with a crowbar. Try to leave the next guy usable parts. After all – we’re all in this together!

Excellent place to get a deal on used auto parts. Before you get there, look up how to do the car repair on the internet, bring the right tools, look around the yard to see the cars with the part you need, pick the one in the best condition, pull it, take it home, and install it. Definitely a great way to save some good money.
